Training & Volunteering
We offer a range of creative, learning and training initiatives with hands-on experience, ideal for people who want to gain confidence, learn new skills or those who have valuable experience and want to support us in their spare time.
As a user-led organisation, our projects & programmes are driven by the communities we support. Because of this ethos, we have a large range of volunteer/work experience/traineeship opportunities available in the following areas...
- Children’s Creativity and Learning support
- Youth work
- Mental Health Peer Support
- Personal Development and Employability
- Treasurer – Member of the Board of Directors
In addition to helping us, these opportunities benefit people who want to work within child development, childcare, youth work and mental health, creating valuable, real life experience to include on your CV.
As a Volunteer/work experience student/trainee you will receive and induction, access to a range of training – including Safeguarding, supervision and support, travel/food expenses.
If you are interested in volunteering or becoming a member of the board, please contact us.
I love helping out and volunteering at holiday club, the staff are really supportive and have inspired me to want to work in the community and with children.
