Positive Active Minds (PAM)

Positive Active Minds (PAM) is our user-led, flagship programme offering early intervention, low-level mental health support in Grimsby, Cleethorpes and NE Lincolnshire. The programme includes creative workshops, a peer support network, family drop-in sessions and peer mentor training. PAM aims to empower people to better support themselves and each other by sharing experiences, forming positive relationships, relaxing, socialising, and learning new skills in a safe and supportive environment. This approach contributes to improving participants' confidence, resilience, well-being and mental health.

NEW FOR 2025 - Starting on the 8thSeptember, all activities under the Positive Active Minds programme (PAM) will now be available to access through a new membership scheme. This is to ensure our programmes can continue to run and we can provide the best possible experiences for our attendees. Details of which can be found here - If you'd like to join the scheme, please fill out the following form by clicking this link.

These sessions are designed as an early intervention method to help children and young people who may be experiencing mental health challenges. Using a specially designed workbook with the guidance of our trained Mental Health coaches, your child will work through activities and talk through issues relevant to what they may facing. Areas covered but not exclusive to:

  • Anxiety
  • Emotional regulation
  • Body/Self Image
  • Low mood
  • Confidence Building/Resilience
  • Stress
  • Coping mechanisms
  • Personal Hygiene

Once the free six week course is completed, there is an option to continue further paid development sessions with their coach. Call 07548825027 to speak to a member of the PAM team to see if this is this is the right fit for your child or email info@climb4.co.uk

Since being part of Positive Active Minds, I feel really different. The groups are user-led, which means we get to help plan and choose the activities we do. I can say what I like, what I want to try, and even help suggest new ideas for the group. It makes me feel important and listened to, because the staff really care about what we want.
